A beautiful late-17th-century Stuart crystal ring, centred with a large faceted rock crystal beneath which a vivid arrangement of blue forget-me-nots emerges from behind a red heart, an intimate emblem of love, remembrance, and fidelity. The crystal is framed by gold shoulders set with table-cut diamonds, adding brilliance and balance to the design.
The reverse of the ring is decorated with black and white enamel, a refined and scarce surviving feature typical of high-quality Stuart sentimental jewels.
